platform is unique in the space of salon and spa management software because it is built to solve the specific needs of salons. It acts as a bundle of intuitive dashboards that help stylists, service providers, business owners, and receptionists provide a seamless and amazing client experience.
Boulevard recently celebrated their Series A
and are continuing to grow, building an even more robust software to power salons around the country
I was brought on to the team as a Business Development Intern during my fall quarter at UCLA. I worked with the sales team of six to source and qualify leads, utilizing Salesforce and maintaining the company's accounts. I also worked on several projects for future enterprise customers, researching beauty schools and franchise salons. I learned what their specific needs were and how Boulevard's current product (targeted namely for small businesses) could grow for large enterprises.
I also worked with Boulevard's Director of Product Management to sort and update the company's feature requests from customers. I categorized over 400 requests and tickets into multiple tables and boards, sorting by product/feature, and according to how engineers and the Senior PM might tackle next steps. My work was impactful in building Boulevard's reporting capabilities, and I was able to specify on what customers wanted and needed in reports for their businesses.
