Boulevard is a business management platform that powers salons and spas, handling functions for booking, scheduling, payroll, inventory management, sales, and payments.

The Company

Boulevard's platform is unique in the space of salon and spa management software because it is built to solve the specific needs of salons. It acts as a bundle of intuitive dashboards that help stylists, service providers, business owners, and receptionists provide a seamless and amazing client experience. 
Boulevard recently celebrated their Series A and are continuing to grow, building an even more robust software to power salons around the country

My Role

I was brought on to the team as a Business Development Intern during my fall quarter at UCLA. I worked with the sales team of six to source and qualify leads, utilizing Salesforce and maintaining the company's accounts. I also worked on several projects for future enterprise customers, researching beauty schools and franchise salons. I learned what their specific needs were and how Boulevard's current product (targeted namely for small businesses) could grow for large enterprises. 
I also worked with Boulevard's Director of Product Management to sort and update the company's feature requests from customers. I categorized over 400 requests and tickets into multiple tables and boards, sorting by product/feature, and according to how engineers and the Senior PM might tackle next steps. My work was impactful in building Boulevard's reporting capabilities, and I was able to specify on what customers wanted and needed in reports for their businesses.
